Here are my tentative tbr stacks for October! 📚🎃🍁 I say tentative, because I am very unlikely to get through these all, especially since the books I'm hoping to read this week are in a separate pile! 😂 But it makes me happy to have this much to choose from! 😍

Reading two packed books these past few days, but I think I'll finish at least the tagged one (maybe both?) today.

The October #ThatsClassic pick. Some of the book feels repetitive, but still a good early gothic horror. Perhaps it's knowledge of how it all pans out, but it didn't feel very suspenseful. As others mentioned before, it's not exactly a female friendly world we're viewing but that's how women were regarded in the 1890s. Thanks for the push to reread it 25 years later @Annie1215

If a woman had written this, they would have deemed it melodramatic twaddle and disregarded it entirely. It was ok but not great.

When you set up for next month‘s event and then remember there‘s one left this month. I totally meant to use up that itty bitty square from the beginning, okay?
