The main branch of the library in my hometown is slated to be closed after the new one is built. Many memories in that library. I can remember the exact corner I‘d run to every time to find yet another Little Bear book before I later moved on to Amelia Bedelia and others shown here. As my granddaughter grows maybe I‘ll be able to #turnbacktime just a little bit by sharing some of these stories with her.

Reading a book to her bestie at our local library this weekend. 🤓😍📚

Alright, these easy readers might seem a little silly to read for the readathon, but I bought them recently after really enjoying reading aloud A Kiss for Little Bear with my son. That first one is still my favorite, but the rest will be fun to read with the little guy too. I just love the Sendak illustrations and Little Bear's Visit is a Caldecott Honor, so I wanted to read them all through once on my own. #24in48
