I have to say after my son died I had a hard time accepting his death. So, I found that writing poems in his honor and my play brother's honor helped me out a lot. When I gave my life to Christ, I felt a heavy burden lifted off of my shoulders. I have to say God sends you through things in order to bring what is inside of you out so the world can see the gift that he has given you. My poems are about what God can and will do for you if you just open up your heart and let him in. I also get some of my inspirations listening to my gospel CDs. I traveled a road I thought I would never see end, but God showed me the way to a better road.
