These two stories were good but also scary how easy it seems to come to that state. Definitely feel like we should be learning from these stories and not letting hate control people. All in all very good

Haven‘t posted in a week cuz I had such a book hangover from Michelle Obama‘s Becoming. Now it‘s time to reset and do a bit of reading while it‘s raining outside

After listening to an episode of the #BunnyEars #Podcast, I was inspired to read #AnimalFarm. I don‘t think it was one of my required reads when I was in high school, but I am sure at the time I wouldn‘t have read it anyway. I am eight chapters in and really enjoying it. I can also say that I would have appreciated it as much back then as I do now.

I had read Animal Farm before, but this was my first time for 1984. I loved 80% of 1984, only so-so on the last 20%. But over-all I'm glad I read them. Now I need something cheerier for sure though.
