There‘s a big fair in town and of course Meg is in charge of almost everything and trying to solve a murder and poultry theft at the same time. These books make no sense but are still fun to read.

pickThe Meg Langslow books have become one of my favorite comfort reads. They‘re light and fun and I kinda want her life (the main character, not the author although I‘m sure she‘s lovely.) This book was heavy on farm animal exposition and improbable, but I still enjoyed it.
pickI‘ve gotten so behind in this series, but that means I have lots of fabulous books waiting for me! Every installment is so well-written, with unique additions, and just makes me happy 😊
This one is takes place at the Un-Fair, Caerphilly‘s state/county fair alternative, organized by Meg, naturally. Heritage breed chicken theft, llama showings, county rivalry, and a murder of a philandering husband all combine to make up the goofy plot. 😄
