Did the First Lady run away ? Or is she in far greater danger than anyone could have imagined.

How does he do it? How does James Patterson come up with these stories? This one is full of twists and turns, it kept me guessing for a long time as to what was really going on. Most of the way through there was this layer to it where you knew something was going on below the surface but you couldn‘t quite put your finger on it (pun not intended). Highly recommend!

A fast paced, easy read. Typical thriller. A bit of a page turner in its way although I though the ending a bit weak. I think some characters should‘ve got their come uppance more strongly.

If you‘re looking for a quick read and you‘re willing to suspend a fair chunk of logic, you may enjoy this. Some parts are more outrageous/less satisfying than others. Overall, I‘m happy to have had it as a diversion.

This book could easily be called The First Lady is Missing! I read this following having read The President is Missing. I did enjoy this book but it didn‘t quite have the depth of The President is Missing. Some interesting and intricate plots in this one as you try to work out who is working for you and who is working against you. This took me to #Virginia in the #SeparatedByAPondTour

Scochrane26 If you need a Kentucky book, I have plenty of suggestions. 4y
Andrew65 @Scochrane26 That would be great 😊 4y

I enjoyed this book. I like a good quick read on a Saturday and James Patterson and co-writer never disappoint. My local library has a program where you can check off writers that you like, from their list of writers, and when a new book is published you are put on the hold list automatically. I must get a notification of a hold book ready from James Patterson at least once a month. #QuiteProlific

Just finished another new Patterson book and I really enjoyed this one. There aren‘t many of his books that I don‘t enjoy. This book draws from real presidential issues and I feel as if this is a situation that could realistically happen, however unlikely that it would. It was a little slow going at first but it picked up and I couldn‘t put it down!

This one was so fun!!! Fast paced!!! It made me wonder how much really goes on in the White House that we don‘t know about. Three strong women, one not likable, but strong, nonetheless. 💜💜💜

This book was a whole lot better than his last one. It actually kept me intrigued. Would of finished it earlier, but was busy Friday and Saturday.

Not too technical from ‘The White House‘ perspective, which I‘m good with! Fast-paced suspense I thought. Plus I always enjoy short chapters. 😝😉

At some point years ago I just stopped reading James Patterson. I really enjoyed the early books but he started writing so many books and using a Co-writer and I just lost interest. So I surprised myself when I picked up this one. I think it‘s a stand alone. This has been a really fun read so far and I haven‘t wanted to put it down.

Update: Finished! 👍 Cindy will this work for #political intrigue? #Booked2019

rretzler I know what you mean about Patterson. I, too, stopped reading him years ago. With all of his co-writers, it just seemed like a cheap way for him to make a lot of money and I had a hard time supporting that. My mother still buys his books as they come out, though, so I guess we cancel each other out. 😆 5y

Bklover @Cinfhen Do you want my copy, Cindy? I‘m happy to send it! 5y
Cinfhen I would love that, Missy. Thank you. If you want to mail it to my parents in Philly that would be perfect, as I plan to be there over the summer. And I‘m pretty sure mom& dad would be happy to read it as well, since their entire bookshelf in Florida is mostly Patterson 🤪😆 5y
Bklover Great! Send me mom and dad‘s address! @Cinfhen (edited) 5y
