so-soNot my favorite of her memoirs. As it is a memoir of her family tribe there was just so much going on with all the various family members that the writing felt choppy. I did very much love the tribe living though; and if I could, I too would have my whole family within a six block radius.

Was so excited to tumble upon a signed copy of a book by my favorite author at The Strand awhile back. In addition to writing great fiction Allende has also written some memoirs.
