My bookish box arrived today! 📚💕 Hooray! The theme this month is The Forbidden Forest. 🌲🌳🌲The book looks incredible and I love the tapestry and unicorn necklace! 🦄 #bookishbox #bookmail

Chrissyreadit Love this theme! I never do book subscriptions because I do so many swaps but I‘m looking this one up. 4w
MellieAntoinette That book was super good! 4w
Branwen @MellieAntoinette Really?! That's so great to hear! I had never heard if it before, previously, but it looks amazing! 😀 @Chrissyreadit You totally should! I'm kinda really loving this theme! And the tapestry is huge and gorgeous! It's worth it just for that! 4w

I really enjoyed this book. I love how the crows were here in place of dragons like you normally find. The characters were strong and fleshed out. It was a tad predicatble but honestly not enough that I didn't second guess my predictions as I read. I wish it weren't a new release so I could binge the trilogy it will be.

MellieAntoinette Loved this one! A nice surprise! 1mo

That being said, I couldn‘t put this down and I am anxiously awaiting that little blue preorder button for book 2. Fabulous! Wanted so much more and yet perfectly satisfied with what I got!

The world building in this book was incredible - the wingbeats of avian creatures filled every page, soothing a story that already had good bone structure. I think the one thing missing here is the muscle and tendon needed to develop what is ultimately an underpinning of what is to come - rather than the lynchpin of promise so evident in Josephson‘s quill!

A lovely, rainy day read with bitter hints of sweetness tucked melancholically amidst crows eggs and Res‘ wings. Princess Anthia is no longer in Rhodaire, her home kingdom destroyed by Illucian fires on the night of Ronoch as the crows fly in a dazzling show of their majesty. And now she‘s been betrothed ... to the son of her enemy.

It was pretty good. It feels pretty quick at times. I liked the world and the idea of crows having magic. It doesn‘t really give me a feeling of needing to continue on but I‘m pretty sure this is gonna be a series.

JazzFeathers Phenomenal cover! 3mo

Recieved the ARC with fairyloot and I was NOT disappointed at all.
It is so easy to connect with the MC and my heart burst with Res ❤
The only downside is the wait to continue this story is going to be annoyingly long.

So I received an advance readers edition of The Storm Crow in my Fairyloot box. At first glance the cover is beautiful. The book description give a lot of the book away.....I feel. I am on chapter 6 and hoping to connect with the MC but it‘s slow going so far! Check it out on GRs. Comes out 7-9-19

ForeverReading Update: I added this to my DNF list. The book was so predictable and the main character was so hard to get to like. Oh course the prince was the most beautiful, but Cruel guy she has ever met... I‘m guessing he ends up being a good guy.... the whole idea of the world was cool but the story need more. Don‘t get me started on the Queen 😒 8mo
