This was first published in 2010 but was just re-released yesterday. Audio narration was excellent and the story had a lot going for it. Towards the middle it lost some of its charm but ultimately the book proved to be satisfying. The story of a family dealing with financial, emotional and spiritual challenges that continue to ripple over the decades. Writing was fresh & clever in some spots, but at other times it became more of a challenge.

Did anyone know a new Gabrielle Zevin novel came out today?? Apparently I preordered this audio( and another) and I couldn‘t be happier!!! This one is GREAT so far ☺️ #TreatYoSelf
****UPDATE***** This book is apparently a re-release 🤷🏼‍♀️but I‘m still enjoying it 💕

Hooked_on_books After the success of T3 raising her profile, I‘m not at all surprised they would start rereleasing some prior books. As they should! I‘m sure there are some serious gems in her backlist. 1y
Cinfhen It‘s a short audio @Hooked_on_books and you are right that her agent and publisher are capitalizing on GZ recent success unfortunately this one is not a gem!! The first part was really good but now the second half the book is falling apart😖I feel played!!! 1y

It is lucky she thinks that we don't feel all the love inside us every moment. We couldn't breathe or walk or eat. It is lucky that it just flares up every now and again then resolves itself into a manageable dormancy.
