This was cute. Angie returns to her small Idaho home town after her grandmother's death. She and her best friend Felicia plan to open a farm to fork restaurant. I was surprised by how much I liked this cozy mystery. I was a little nervous it would be recipe/food heavy as a vegan but honestly it felt more about community and she adopted a goat, and treats her dog like family. Fun, easy breezy story with likable characters. #cbbc

So this wasn't a bad book just .. it took a while to really get into for me. I enjoyed it but.. not really. (ha I am horrible at writing “reviews“) if it helps, it wouldn't be one that I recommend to anyone if that helps. @Avanders

An ok cozy... it had some cute parts but some of it dragged for me. I think the series has potential though!

Found this just ok. Felt like it took a long time to gear up and was overly detailed. Some of the author‘s other series look more up my alley.

It‘s been a weird few days, then add in the insanity of yesterday and I feel like I need a total reset. Kiddo has had a tough week sleep wise which hasn‘t helped. Did get my 20 mins of reading in today though.

First in a series so I was hoping to love it. Only liked it a bit. The main character was a little annoying; full of herself and abrupt, possibly condescending. Not many cute town characters. It didn‘t seem to flow. I often felt I had just picked it up and didn‘t know what was going on when I‘d only turned the page. Might try one more. We‘ll see. #cozymysteries #ilovecozies
