Time to get that essential before bed relaxation started. It‘s a ritual for me to read for 2-3 hours before I go to sleep each night. Sometimes it‘s much longer but very rarely less. I have done this since I was a child. I find it relaxing and it keeps my mind and emotions in check - especially after stressful days! Reading this book makes me long to be out in the garden making the flowers bloom and attracting the bees and birds. I wish summer would hurry up and these snow warnings would go away until winter. It‘s so amazing to read these stories of actual land girls and their genuine memories and experiences. My dream is to be able to write something like this myself one day. Wow. This book is so interesting and so readable. I managed to devour five chapters in the bath and am now seven chapters in and almost halfway through. Why is it that I find nonfiction much more compulsively readable than any kind of fiction? I really don‘t know.
