@MicrobeMom Thank you so, so, SO much for my #HappilyEverAfterSwap package. I love everything! I have never heard of The Juniper Tree and The Robber Bride has been on my wish list foreverrrr! Ironically, I received Hazel Wood in a package last fall, but I took it to my high school where it promptly “grew legs” and walked away!!! I‘m so glad to have another copy that I can get to read! 😂

Readergrrl @microbemom I‘ve just started bullet journaling too so that, the Kisses, and the socks really rounded the whole package out! Thank you very much!! 5mo

Readergrrl @microbemom and I‘ve finally come to the conclusion that if one of my books makes someone so happy that it “walks away” with them, then that makes me happy too!! 5mo

melissajayne The Robber Bride was my first Margaret Atwood book that I read. Read it when I was 15/16. 5mo
Readergrrl @microbemom And this notecards are lovely! The embossed art reminds me of the purple Jacaranda trees near where my grandmother lived in Florida. Beautiful! 5mo
BookishTrish I got The Robber Bride too!!! 5mo
Chrissyreadit The Juniper Tree sounds foreboding. I can‘t wait to hear about it. 5mo
MicrobeMom Yay! I am glad you enjoyed it. I hope the books are good! 5mo
Readergrrl @MicrobeMom I really do! I wore the socks to work today and showed them off to my seniors who promptly reminded me that I am officially the biggest book nerd they‘ve ever known. Tomorrow is my stay at home and read day, so I‘m quite excited! Thanks again!!! 5mo
MicrobeMom Excellent! Enjoy your reading. Also my students say I am the biggest book nerd too! 5mo

Pickpick

My first Comyns. Her writing is beautiful and haunting. Hard to describe. Bella is a single mom And finds a job in an antique shop, her life becomes intertwined with a couple that comes into the shop. She and her daughter spend more and more time with them with many unintended consequences. Filled with troubled characters, and some deep friendships, it also had a magical quality. #fairytaleretelling #booked2019

Blaire I normally dislike fairy tale retellings. This one worked for me. I think it helped that I wasn‘t familiar with the fairy tale. I Wikipediad the gruesome original part way through this book. 6mo
Cinfhen Never heard of this fairytale either! Cool cover and great choice🧚🏼‍♂️🧚🏻‍♀️🧚🏼‍♂️ 6mo

It‘s Sunday morning and I am miraculously the only one awake. Time to make the coffee and perhaps start this #fairytaleretelling. It‘s either this one or sweetness at the bottom of the pie this morning - to be determined by mood.

Jee_HookedOnBookz I love fairytale retellings! Would love to know what you thought of this! 6mo
Tamra This one sounds good! 6mo
Leftcoastzen I love reading when everyone else is still snoozing. That is the sweetness at the bottom of the the pie! 6mo

Just started this beauty. Loved Comyns‘ “The Vet‘s Daughter” when I read it years ago.

Sitting and writing another paper, after staying up till 2 a.m. finishing up another 15 pager, and all I can do is hear the call of my books looming near me. I‘ll be with you soon my sweet babies...t-minus 3 weeks until the end of the semester. #mlis #archives #gradschool

Heard about this one on the All the Books podcast and thought of you @Victoria_Clyne

Victoria_Clyne @Joanne1 what made you think of me? 1y
Joanne1 It's kind of a retelling of a Grimm's fairytale. For some reason that made me think you'd be into it. 1y
