#MarchIntoThe70s #Day5 #PsychoKiller In the long history of Aussie killers, I don‘t think you‘ll find a more psychotic one than Katherine Knight. After her partner left her, she broke into his house & stabbed him to death. She wasn‘t done though, as an abattoir worker with skills, she hung him on a hook, skinned him then carved off parts of flesh & cooked them & his head before serving it up with veggies & gravy with placecards with his kids names😱

britt_brooke OMG. 5y

Lizpixie @britt_brooke @Cinfhen Yep! And totally true. You should read the book, the woman was seriously disturbed. 5y

britt_brooke @Lizpixie I think I‘m too chicken to read this one. 🙈 5y
Lizpixie @ErickaS_Flyleafunfurled we breed some nut jobs here in Oz🤪 @britt_brooke don‘t worry, she‘s locked up for the rest of her life & thank god she was one of a kind. She‘s the only woman to ever have her papers marked Never To Be Released. 5y

Chrissyreadit @Lizpixie I had to look her up on Wikipedia. I wonder what happened to her children? I‘m surprised she was allowed to keep them after putting one on the train tracks. 5y

#LitsyClassics #MayLovesClassics #day12 #TrueCrime This is some of my true crime collection. You read fictional crime novels & think sometimes “This wouldnt happen in real life!”Then you start reading true crime.A lot of this stack is Aussie TC, we must breed them crazy here, there‘s bodies hidden in barrels of acid in a bank vault, razor gangs slashing faces & a woman who skins her partner before cooking him & serving him up on plates. With veggies.

AlaMich Well, you do have that history of beginning as a penal colony. Just sayin‘...😉 6y
Hollie With veggies 😂 6y
Bostonmomx2 I literally just read a news story about a woman who killed her husband and now investigators think she killed a lover and served him at a BBQ- so trust me, USA got us some cray cray too 😏 6y

#HallowReads #day2 #MacabreMonday This is a true crime novel about one of the most macabre murders ever committed in Australia. On 1st of March 2000, John Price was murdered by his de facto Katherine Knight.Katherine was an abattoir worker so she not only killed him,she hung him up,skinned him, carved off pieces, cooked & served him up with vegetables & gravy, with little placecards with his kids names on them..

Theresa 😳😲 Sounds horrifying, yet fascinating at the same time. I always wonder what makes people do the terrible things they do. 7y
Lizpixie @Theresa when Australians go psychotic, we go to extremes! The officers who were the first on scene both left the force within months. His description of walking into what at first he thought was a rubber sheet before he realised it was bleeding & man shaped is horrifying. She was one sick puppy who, thank god, will never be released.🙏 (edited) 7y
tricours That's... something ? There was a quite unusual case with a 24 yo Swedish woman who killed and dismembered her love rival some years back, and people were quite shocked because girls don't often do that. But what struck me was what it said in the news article about the case. She was just going to scare the girl but "things got out of hand". And ended up with a dismemberment. 7y
mrp27 Series of my expressions while reading your post.. 😳😵😱 7y
