With her badge and her reputation on the line, criminal psych specialist Maya Cooper vowed to catch the serial killer whose attacks plagued Bear Claw Creek. She had no choice she was his next target! Now, to catch the madman, she'd need Thorne Coleridge's help. But trusting Thorne had never been easy for Maya. Her former police academy instructor was the one man who knew the secrets of a past she'd worked hard to forget. And remembering what they might have had together threatened the safety of Thorne's protection. Protection that was the only thing keeping her from falling prey to the killer's deadly scheme.

1) Physical (& audio!)
2) heroes
3) Trilogies. Longer than that, besides a select few, I get impatient. Too many books to stick to 1 storyline.
4) The Hating Game
5) Always and Forever, Lara Jean
6) All the time! "Free bins" at work are my bffs
7) Hunger Games
8) Young Jane Young
9) Outlander - getting ready for #lengthylit
10) 13 Reasons Why (Show)
11) Yes! But if I hear an intriguing description first, I'll still read it
#rapidfirebooktag

The_Heeler_Booklife I love Outlander, but those books take me forever to read and I end up choosing other books so I can get a ton of reading done. Physical books and audiobooks are amazing. 7y
Kaylamburson Yes, I agree! I had no intention of reading Outlander because of the length, but since through #lengthylit we are doing reasonable sections at a time, I think I'll manage. @allthingskayla. All hail physical and audiobooks 🙌🏼🙌🏼 7y

Wordsareweapons Omg the night circus is by far one of my favorite books of all time!! I wanted to reread it pretty much as soon as I finished lol 7y
abbsinwonderland @Read_to_live22 I think that's why I'm having such trouble getting into my current read lol. Nothing can compare to The Night Circus. 7y
Wordsareweapons @abbsinwonderland absolutely nothing! The descriptions and just feel of the book draw you so far into that world you never want to leave! At least I didn't! 😊 7y
abbsinwonderland @Read_to_live22 I even tried to slowly read it and I still finished it in two days. 😫 It'll definitely be one I re-read. 7y

Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks I've never read Harry Potter 😮 7y
Smangela @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks I always suggest just trying the first book - my husband was adamantly against it and after book 1 wanted to keep going - now they're his favorite 😂 7y
Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @Smangela I'll have to add it to my ever growing pile!!! 7y

Sweettartlaura @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks Re: Harry Potter - you might have to go to Bk2 (or more) to really love it. I ADORE it. But I didn't read ANY until about 6 months before the last one came out. Then I binged, & was ready for #7. But I must admit: as likable as #1 was, it's most definitely a kids' book. If I had read them as they came out, I would have NEVER gotten to Bk2. 7y
Sweettartlaura That being said... Bk2 - and beyond - are totally worth it❤️. This is an amazing series. JK Rowling is a gift to us all. 7y
Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks If I'm remembering correctly I tried to read the first one, but couldn't understand the jibber jabber!!! Lol 😆 7y

NovelGirl82 How was Bardugo's Wonder Woman?! I saw it, but wasn't sure... 7y
BookFreakOut @NovelGirl82 It's pretty good, if you enjoyed the WW movie you'll probably enjoy it. My only comment is that it doesn't have the same dark edge of her other books, which I missed. It lacks a central villain for most of it and has no equivalent for the Darkling or Kaz. Definitely still a good read, though, plenty of mythology and action, and a lot of POC representation. I liked seeing teenage Diana. 7y

thegirlwiththelibrarybag I believe a good film is hidden within the Hobbit trilogy 😬 so much love for the LOTR trilogy (I love Merry and Pippin - it warms my heart that the actors seem like great mates irl) 7y
mom2bugnbee @thegirlwiththelibrarybag I adore Martin Freeman, but there was no need to make the Hobbit into a trilogy (except ?). My daughter said just last night "They spent like 20 pages wandering in the forest in the book. It took an entire movie to get through that part!) Now, LOTR deserved its trilogy & they are fabulous. 7y
thegirlwiththelibrarybag Martin Freeman didn't really end up as the main character by the third movie 😔 he is delightful tho and I hope we get to see him in something brilliant soon (and with his beautiful British accent, none of this American accent business!) 7y
mom2bugnbee @thegirlwiththelibrarybag Totally with you there. I think I'll go watch some Sherlock re-runs. 😉 7y
