I have to work outside this stormy morning but I'm taking comfort with some tea and using this adorable tea strainer from @KatieDid927 . How cute is this?

KatieDid927 It‘s even cuter than it looked on the box! 3y

@KatieDid927 I am in awe! I asked for my #staycationintimeswap to be about tea and Katie went above and beyond. She sent me to Japan with all varieties of green tea. I can't wait to try the various teas. I've used matcha powder in smoothies before, but have never made an actual cup and now I can. I already tried the green tea mochi which was very good, though not all all what I was expecting. Thank you so much!!!!
@Chrissyreadit

KatieDid927 You‘re so welcome! I had so much fun shopping for you! There‘s actually a Japanese market around the corner from my house, so it gave me an excuse to visit! 3y
KatieDid927 Oh and the togarashi is a Japanese spice blend that you can add to all sorts of stuff, like ramen or even pizza. It‘s a little spicy and super yummy. 3y
Chrissyreadit @tdrosebud I loved your theme so much! @KatieDid927 is a swap partner extraordinaire ❤️ 3y
tdrosebud @Chrissyreadit Thanks! It came out of the blue for me, I was originally thinking of something completely different. Thanks for hosting, it is one of my favorite swaps of the year. 3y

The secret to a well-balanced life is a cup of tea in one hand and a book in the other. Tea and books – two of life's pleasures that bring joy. 😊🍵📚

Helping me with my yucky uni course is novel tea. Thanks, @JulietteGF . Would rather be on a walk than read about video game localization YUK!!!

I am absolutely in love with Nottingham ! My company put me up in a hotel in a wonderful part of the city, walking distance to everything. I ventured over to the Waterstones and omg I am in love !!! It's 5 stories and it's so beautiful. All their displays are so beautiful, crisp and vast. I'll probably go a few more times since I'm here for 2 weeks. #aimeetravels #travelingbookworm #foreignbookstores

Today is my Sunday. Even though it's hotter than the 4th of July outside (hehe, snickers), a nice cuppa and a book makes a relaxing evening before a hectic week.

Anyone else a tea drinker? David's Tea is running a promotional, in store "book club" for the summer. The contest looks like you could win autographed copies for anyone who is interested!

Not on Litsy's database but TWG's tea book has an extensive list of descriptions for all their tea flavors. It's so difficult to choose just one flavor because there are so many to choose from!

#bookandtea #tea #teatime

Jaimelire I would love this! Must be impossible to pick 7y
Chachic @Jaimelire It's so hard to choose! Even though I go to their cafes on a regular basis, I always want to choose a flavor I'll love. 7y
Jaimelire @Chachic what are your favourites? 7y
Chachic @Jaimelire I like the fruity and floral ones! Rose, lavender, mango, berries, etc. Also different blends of earl grey. 7y

#BookishMail for my tea!!! Can't wait to try some of these with a good book curled up in my Library 📚☕️❤ They send 4-5 loose leaf tea blends every month for $9 plus shipping (about $2) and you get a 25% discount on their other tea blends. Give them a try if you want to expand your tea tastes 😊

brilliantglow My favourite loose leaf teas are from DavidsTea they have so many flavours and they're so fresh. A lot of their teas are also organic and they've recently partnered with Me to We to bring clean water to areas without it in Kenya. They don't have a subscription box though. Probably their only flaw lol 7y
BooksTeasAndBookishThings @brilliantglow Yes! I love their teas, too! I wish they DID have a subscription. This company employs those with physical and mental disabilities, and their teas are really great. I had to support them ☕️❤😊 7y
brilliantglow I wish DavidsTea had a subscription too lol I will have to try out simple though. Can't go wrong with a good tea subscription.❤❤ 7y

BooksTeasAndBookishThings @brilliantglow if they did and Teavana did... I swear I wouldn't know what to do lol 7y
brilliantglow Lol right? Though I admit I'm not so much a fan of teavana. They just don't have the same quality or freshness that I get with davidstea. 7y
BooksTeasAndBookishThings @brilliantglow some of their teas I definitely agree, but some of their custom blends are divine! Especially when I order online. In store... no they are usually a bit, almost watered down? Like they are more dull. 7y
brilliantglow Yes! And that has turned me away from them. Especially when I can go to the same mall and get davidstea in store at much better quality. And their product is consistently great quality. Online and in store. Where clearly that is not the case for teavana 7y
lilredhen My fave source is Teapunk Teas for loose leaf. They've got some good stuff, including a Russian caravan I can't get around here at all. Bonus is they include bits of short stories on their tea tins *bliss* 7y
BooksTeasAndBookishThings @lilredhen I will have to check them out! I have never heard of them ❤ 7y
lilredhen @BooksTeasAndBookishThings they are located in Granbury Tx. I came across them at a local Steampunk Festival where they had a booth with "sniffers" of their different varieties. They are a tad pricier that a bigger company (they are a micro business), but the blends are high quality and great taste, and last me quite a while per tin. Plus. Steampunk. 7y
BooksTeasAndBookishThings @lilredhen I will definitely check them out, thank you!!! 7y
[DELETED] 206653737 Got my first box today, yay! I hope you got credit for my order, I emailed them directly to be sure and they got your info but never confirmed. 7y
BooksTeasAndBookishThings @bookish22 awwww you rock! 🤘 I will check my account and find out 😊 Thank you! 7y
