so-soI laughed a lot, but as it‘s an early book it just doesn‘t compare to her others. Her other books had me in tears laughing. This one was just ok. #audiobook #memoir #nonfiction

bailedI had to bail. I am disappointed. I loved Are You There Vodka, and I really like Chelsea. A book about one night stands could be funny, but this one isn't. I found it a little depressing, and boring.
I listened to the audiobook and Chelsea didn't narrate it herself. That may have helped.
In the end I decided this was NOT a good end of the year book. I made it halfway through.
I think she's going to be my hero!!! 😂👍🏻

so-soThere are some good laugh out loud moments here. Chandler holds views of humans that I may not share, but I also have to wonder how much of her storytelling is absolute truth and how much of it is a performance of her comedy.
pickMy pick for #augustofpages funny book. I don't always love Chelsea now, but back in 2005 when this book came out, it was a lifesaver. All my friends were either studying to be important people, or getting married and having babies. I was bartending, drinking my tips and stumbling home at 6am. This book not only made me laugh, it made me feel less alone while I figured out my life.
