Today we visited the Keats-Shelley House by the Spanish Steps here in Rome. Very bittersweet because his bedroom and bed where he died, and his death mask, are open to the public.

From ‘Ode to a Nightingale‘. I had to pick between illustration and actually being able to read the verse- so most of the wonderful illustration got chopped off!

Give me books, French wine, fruit, fine weather and a little music played out of doors by somebody I do not know❤️.....

I don't have much #poetry on my shelfs. It's not a genre I am very familiair with. But I do love John Keats and have just ordered this collection of his poems. The cover is so pretty! I just could not resist. Does anyone have reccomandations for me to expansie my poetry collection?
