While reading some of Keats' poetry this morning, I was visited by these four butterflies: Speckled Wood (top left); two mating Gatekeepers (top right: I think they were more focused on each other!); and a Large White. And some water lilies ???

Another excellent #biography by Jonathan Bate! This time he serves a Keatsian inspired look at F. Scott Fitzgerald‘s life. Bate includes long excerpts from letters and primary source material that enriches this glorious history of two writers gone too soon. I can never get enough of Keats and neither could Fitzgerald! #audiobook BEAUTY+LOVE4EVER

I have been reading a lot of essays lately, so this slim volume (60 pages) sounded appealing. Jaeggy writes about Thomas De Quincey, Keats & Marcel Schwob. These works are filled with unusual details & are like brief lyrical biographies. I loved it.
