I liked it!
The style of reporting was suited and the introduction of philosophy and nature was interesting.
I'm glad it didn't become too Hollywood and that there's still intrigued in the world.

We do not care what else is happening this weekend, or what may come up. We will be attending the protest Saturday (if our joints cooperate), then promptly heading home to hermit up for the rest of the weekend. We do not want company. We will be reading, napping, and watching trash.

In this novella, based on a true story, Éric Faye recounts beautifully and poetically how the main character, a single man in his fifties, discovered a woman was using his place when he was absent...
The themes of solitude, intrusion, and meaning of life are very well explored despite the brievety of the book.

Thought this sounded interesting so I figured I would give it a try.

This is a slow, contemplative novel about a young artist battling with her mental health. I was surprised by all the love in this sad novel. I am glad I read it. 3 🌟

Mini readathon for the next two days... Actually just Sat/Sun mornings. My chunkster will be set aside and I'm going to enjoy these books. Happy weekend!

Started this one the other night, Friday I think.
This was one of my first BOTM back in 2017 and had yet to read it.
So far it‘s interesting looking forward to how Finkel lays out the story.
