TheNextBook @aschermetz He is a Colombian Red-Tailed Boa. He is about 4 years old and around 8ft long. He lives in a tank we had made for him. He does chill on the couch occasionally. He likes being under a blanket on the couch, but he also likes to sit on the banister. That was much easier when he was younger and smaller. I have more pics of him tagged under this book! 😂 check them out. 6y

There was a time when Squishy was much smaller and he would sit on my head! He isnt small enough to do that anymore but today he thought he would try! No sir! Squishy just had a pretty incredible shed cycle. So of course my son asked to bring the shed to school and his teacher was a-okay with it. I sent in pictures of Squishy and even a video of a Colombian Red Tail Boa, like Squihsy, shedding. The kids got to look at the shed, touch it and a do a little bit of hands on learning. And it was all the Kid's idea! #snakesoflitsy #raisingreaders #readerslovetolearn #thekidreads
