I own a couple of the books from the Chesapeake Shores series, but they are later in the series, like books 7 and 8 or something, and because of my compulsive inability to read books out of order, I've never picked them up. Starting this series was one of this month's draws for #TBRDeckofCards and while this wasn't a groundbreaking story, it was good enough to get me to pick up the next book in the series. I enjoyed that while the romance was ⬇

I watched the Chesapeake Shores Series during lockdown, turns out it was adapted from these books. We found them in nana‘s stash! 📚 A nice easy read.

I love the O'Briens. They are what i would want in a family.

I really enjoyed this book. I started watching the show on Hallmark but I prefer the story line of the book series better. On to the next book, Flowers on Main. 💐

Been watching the Chesapeake Shores series on my Hallmark streaming channel and I‘m enjoying it but I‘m looking forward to getting deeper into the stories via the book series. The added bonus is that I found these books in the series for $.50/each, making my mini book haul only $2. 👍🏻🌈✌🏻📚

Nice, second chance romance and the first in a series about the dysfunctional O‘Brien family. I read the third one a few weeks ago and decided to go back and start from the beginning.

Got a little annoyed with some characters in the beginning but it ended up to be pretty good.

Reading book 1 in the Chesapeake Shores series. Hallmark has a tv series coming out later this summer. I'll be interested to see how the books compare to the series.

My first Sherryl Woods books and it was a good start to the series. It ended a bit quick but obviously there is more to come. I love the development of the characters and I look forward to more in the series.
