I‘m sad and hangry today (but it‘s nothing to what I‘ll be later tonight since I‘ve got a colonoscopy tomorrow) so I picked up a book that‘s been on my shelf forever. In fact, there was an unopened card in it from a Secret Santa from an email list serv that hasn‘t existed in decades! That did make me crack a small smile, remembering when I was too young for colonoscopies. 😂

Ruthiella The prep is awful. You have my sympathy! But personally speaking, the actual event is not a big deal and the drugs are awesome. The best nap ever. So I‘m hoping that is the case for you too! 2mo
BookNAround @Ruthiella I have a crap (pun intended) genetic history so this is already my third colonoscopy. You‘re not wrong though; it is the best sleep ever! 2mo
Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks I hope everything goes well!! I‘m the same today from a dental procedure 😫😫 2mo

LiteraryinLawrence When I prepped for one I just watched Friends for hours straight. I couldn‘t focus on reading. Good luck! 2mo

BookNAround @slategreyskies @LiteraryinLawrence @Jas16 @Ruthiella @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks Thanks! It went well and I have a 5 year reprieve, which is all they give people with my genetic history. All in all, as good as can be expected! (edited) 2mo

Mehso-so

Becky was so immature and that was the reason why I hated the beginning. But Jess was awesome and she got even Becky to understand some things.

This dragged a bit at some point but I liked how this ended. Light & entertaining to read but nothing really special.

I was made for Milan.
No. Not Milan, Milano.
And as soon as I looked round the hotel foyer at all those chic women in Prada and D&G, kissing each other whilst simultaneously downing espressos, lighting cigarettes and flinging their shiny hair about, I just kind of knew, with a kind of natural instinct: this is my kind of city.

I'm making my way through this ridiculous series again; I mean, why not? This chapter of Becky Bloomwood's life is #AboutSiblings as she discovers a long-lost sister who is the opposite of everything Becky dreams of. One of the more far-fetched in the series, but still silly fun. #BiblioMAYnia

As the series progresses, the story and Becky, herself, become more shallower and sillier. Becky Bloomwood must be the most naive, poser, irresponsible, stupid heroine I have met. Her sister was right, she was a spoiled brat. I just wished Kinsella did not make this a series. I hope she just stopped with the first one. I don't know who needs help, Becky Bloomwood or Sophie Kinsella!

My holiday read 🌻🌞 It's about Becky and Luke who were going on ten-month honeymoon. When they were in Sri Lanka, they finally decided to go home earlier than they should, because Becky wanted it to be a surprise for everyone back home. Unexpectedly, all didnt go as well as she wished.. #chicklit

I love it. It's a light and funny read. I haven't finished it but from what I have been reading through, I'd give it 3.5/5 already 🌟🌟🌟

May as well just continue on! This isn't a favorite in the series but it still stirs up fantastic memories of the Blackpool vacation I was on when I bought it. #currentlyreading #shopaholic #blackpoollights

One book. One book of my entire collection has a #headlesscover. And it is technically not completely headless. I am shocked! So now dear Littens, I need your help: can you recommend any great books with headless covers to put on my #tbr?

A funny, humorous book, very entertaining. So many unexpected twists. Took me away to another world. Gave an insight of numerous places around the world. Most importantly this book taught me not to hide anything from your loved one, if you do you are getting yourself in a big trouble! The journey between Becky & her long lost sister was a real roller coaster ride. All in all a good read!
