Just finished the first in the series, now on to the next….hope it‘s as good as the first one
Summer has a messy and complicated family life. Rhett has a successful career in bull riding but is searching for something, but he doesn‘t know what. Sparks fly when Summer is sent to ‘baby sit‘ Rhett by her father who happens to be Rhett‘s agent. The tension and banter make for great reading. Full of heart and a great set of secondary characters who you can‘t help but love too. Can‘t wait to read the next in the series.
Well it‘s been a tough week, I had a car accident on Tuesday. Thankfully not my fault but due to the nature of the impact I‘ve jarred my back, neck and shoulder. My anxiety has been through the roof and I haven‘t been sleeping well. Today they took my car to be assessed. Things could have been a lot worse but it‘s made me really nervous to get back in a car. I‘ve been at home for three days resting but managed to read quite a bit. Xx
Just got back from a walk and I took photos of all the amazing post box toppers I found, they‘ve all been made by the ‘Worcester Knit, knit and natter group‘ How many do you recognise? 🧶 📪

1. My first visit to the library was with my nan, it was the summer holidays and I was around 9 years old. I walked in and was amazed at the books. I visited every week of the holidays and read so many books!
2. Flawless by Elsie Silver
Prue lives in London with her father who is blind. She‘s quiet, likes to go unnoticed but she has a birthmark on her face that people tend to notice. They live together in solitude and very rarely venture outside. An event happens that forces Prue go outside into the unknown, she accompanies her father and they begin to realise what they‘ve both been missing.
This was a beautiful heart-warming story about family, friendship and facing your fears

I was really looking forward to reading this but I felt it promised lots but didn‘t deliver. Maggie lives with her father in the Tower of London. She‘s just broken up with her long term boyfriend. An encounter with a Royal Guard forces Maggie to decide not to give up on love. After joining Tinder and going on some hilarious dates, will she ever pluck up the courage to go after what she really wants?
A clean romance filled with history and fun.
The bluebells were in full bloom today ❤️🐾🐶

A charming read. Told by an adorable rescue dog who is a pug called Doug. He wants his rescuer, Julie, to be happy so takes on the role of Cupid. He is set on finding a more suitable partner for Julie which happens to be the V-E-T, as they navigate a rocky first meeting and eventually a friendship, Doug helps them both navigate this new venture.
I treated myself to some new wax melts. I ordered them through a friend. The box smelt gorgeous when I opened it up. Can‘t wait to chill up later and read with my wax melts burning. Scents are black cherry, juicy orange and daffodil with vanilla.
They forgot Litsy and books of course!!!!!!!! 😄

A young adult love story with a grown up twist. Told through the pov through Amoris, who lives at home with her parents and brother. Her best friend Jamison moved away so Amoris had to move on with her life.
Everything changes when Jamison returns to town, school is difficult as he is one of the few Black students in town. Amoris, has to decide where she must stand.
Thought provoking, engaging, fast paced and brilliant read.
This has been on my kindle for over three years, thought it was time I started it!
Maya, 12, visits her dad daily in hospital. He‘s fast asleep and can‘t wake up. Her dad is a professor who has made an invention whereby you can travel into people‘s dreams. His evil boss has trapped him inside a nightmare. Maya and the Dream Bandits have to rescue him before it‘s too late. A brilliant book for MG and big kids like me! Perfect for reading out at bedtime story. I love the fact the author speaks to you throughout the book. 4🌟

Set in southern Appalachia, a heart wrenching story of a young boy born to a single mum in a trailer park. Told in Damon‘s words he lives through child labour, foster care, high school and crushing losses.
This book is full of anger, hate and compassion, yet tells the story of the need to be loved. It features drug use and how its effects can wreck lives of loved ones. It is a depressing read but there is beauty within it too.
