My June #roll100 picks. Rolls 1 & 2 have already been read, so I'm off to a great start lol

I think this is my June list lol. I've already changed it at least 4 times but am partially certain I won't make any changes between now and June 1st ... no promises though

My weekly picks for May. It's been a bit reading month for me; definitely more books Read than usual which made it even harder to choose a top pick each Saturday
Finished my moose and my book and am once again caught up with the DCI Logan series. Eagerly anticipating the newest Hoon and Logan (both coming later this year)

This weekend I'm reading the final book on my June #bookspinbingo list and working on an order for a graduation moose lol
All caught up with Warlow & co and already looking forward to the next adventure

While I liked the storyline and plot, Okeke ruined this book a little for me. This is the DCI Boyd series, not the Samantha Okeke series. If the author wanted to give her a spin-off of her own (which I would now avoid), fine, but unless Boyd is front and center in future books and Okeke is either put on the sideline or gotten rid of, I don't know that I will continue the series.
Soft pick
I'm disliking Okeke a lot in this one so far. She's just not cut out to be the main focus, in my opinion, and the way she is treating Jay (who I've always loved as a character) is making her out to be insufferable and a bully. If she isn't bumped back to a sidekick, or better yet, gone in the next book, I don't know if I'll continue the series.
Finished up my book between loads of laundry and installing books on my new Kobo

Made it to blue on my blanket and starting a new book ... Tuesday is way better than Monday lol
A recent knitting/crochet slump has made for a lot more reading time, but I've cast on this blanket as a mindless project to work on as I read and we'll see how it goes
This is what my May #bookspinbingo board looks like.
Bookspin => 18 => Paid in Full by Brea Alepou & Skyler Snow
Doublespin => 4 => Stalking the Ripper by Jack Gatland
@TheAromaofBooks
I guessed early on whodunnit but still wanted to read on and be sure. The last third or so I ate through rather quickly.
I really wish the author would start writing haunted house stories again; hers are some of my favorites
My April reads.
I filled in my #bookspinbingo board and then some, finished two series, and got caught up on several more. Yet amazingly, my tbr hasn't gotten shorter ... weird 🤷♀️
Progress on my #roll100 selections for 2024 (each color marks the month the book was read)
@PuddleJumper
All of my weekly Favorite picks for April.
So weird that the month is pretty well over and done with now
My #roll100 picks for May are books I've read already in 2024, but I do have others on my bookspin list and will keep chipping away at the list
@PuddleJumper
Couldn't (and wouldn't) put it down. I love this series
This crosses off the last selected book for my #bookspinbingo board for April, so I only have free spots left

Everyone else has retired for the night so I'm settling into my comfy chair with the latest DCI Kett
Taking a short break from laundry and tidying to read a bit. Then it's back to laundry and cooking supper. Yay weekend? 🤷♀️
Been a crummy week but these books have helped ... kind of wish I had more Alice Winters for the weekend but oh well. If my mood really needs it, I'll re-read vrc or hitman's guide
Can always count on Alice Winters for a pick me up
Can't believe this month is half gone already. My #bookspinbingo board is looking pretty good so far, but with training sessions for work and crochet orders in the coming weeks, I may have to slow it down a bit lol
#bookspin #doublespin @TheAromaofBooks
I love being late to discovering a great series, then I can read them whenever I want without having to wait for new releases lol
#serieslove2024 @TheSpineView @Andrew65
This completed book checks of a space on my #bookspinbingo board as well as one of April's #roll100 picks
@TheAromaofBooks @PuddleJumper
Another book complete for #serieslove2024
Always nice when the mystery takes place in Cabot Cove
@TheSpineView @andrew65
Has anyone else seen this? I got way too excited when I got the email about the preorder, and now I have to figure out a way to convince my husband that yes, I most definitely do need another ereader 🙃
It's nice to get lost in one of Jessica's stories. After finishing this one, I've now checked off my #bookspin and #doublespin picks for April
#bookspinbingo @TheAromaofBooks

All caught up on this series.
Feels good to be caught up on some of the many series I'm reading, but also hate waiting for the next installment of a series I like lol
#serieslove2024 @Andrew65 @TheSpineView
Finished this one tonight, getting me all caught up with the Cold Case Psychic series
#serieslove2024 @Andrew65 @TheSpineView
Trying to decide what to read next. Sometimes it's just so hard to pick a book
#moodreader
It's hard getting through a lot of this book because I hate almost every single key player. It's one thing to have a few characters to hate, or even some you love to hate, but there's so many who are just intolerable.
Another great addition to the series; can't wait to see what happens in the last book
#serieslove2024 @Andrew65 @TheSpineView

This is what my April #bookspinbingo card looks like. I just realized as I look at the graphic that all the books are part of series that I've started ... with the exception of three, which are 2 new series I'm starting 🫣

So nice to take a little time to unwind
My April #roll100 picks (I already read number 2 earlier this year, I haven't already read it this month lol)
@PuddleJumper
Hard to believe that today will leave March done and dusted.
My weekly picks this time seem to have a bit of a theme 🤔
Changed out my Kindle decorations lol.
Now, I'm taking a little break to read and work on a beanie with colors inspired by the ghost with the most 😏
