This is one of the most intriguing novels I‘ve ever read. The style is so beautiful and the main character is so incredibly complex. I‘m very excited for the rest of the series

I really enjoyed this novella and thought it was a great bridge to the new spinoff novels!

An incredible end to an incredible series!! This book was a wild ride from start to finish, and I loved [almost] every second of it. There are some truly heart wrenching moments, but the end makes it all worth it!

This series finally hit its stride with this book. I loved this adaptation of my favorite fairytale. The way the characters connect and everything comes together sets up the fourth book nicely. Looking forward to reading it.

I enjoyed the story and the structure of the sequel was not at all what I expected. However, I found the pacing really jumpy and thought this one was more difficult to get through than Cinder because of it.

I enjoyed this fairytale retelling quite a bit. The author threw in a few surprises that kept the classic story fresh and interesting, and I look forward to reading the rest of the series!

Not my favorite in the series, but still good. I‘m glad that Chaol works through his issues, and while he‘s still my least favorite of the main characters, I actually kinda like him now.

The last chapter was completely uncalled for and SJM needs to go think about what she‘s done. It was not okay, and I don‘t know if I can wait until October for the finale.

This one was soooooo much better than ACOTAR. I saw a post on tumblr that described ACOTAR as the longest prologue ever because the action really starts in ACOMAF, and it‘s a perfect description. The plot and character development is so much stronger and I‘m hyped for the next book!

I liked ACOTAR alright, but it was a little slow in places, and I often found myself wishing for third person POV instead of first, but that‘s probably because I‘m used to that from the TOG series. I‘m looking forward to the next one though!

I absolutely loved everything about this book. Aelin was at her peak Aelin-ness with all her schemes and plans, and I LOVED watching them all unfold. Then the ending went and absolutely RIPPED MY HEART OUT and now everything hurts. Brace yourself for this one.

Tears. So many tears. I read this after having read the first four books, but I definitely recommend following the author‘s advice and reading it before you start the novels.

I read this book years ago and am still in love with not only the story but the way it‘s told. This is the book that made me fall in love with unconventional storytelling and helped me realize that I‘m meant to be a director, so it will always be at the top of my recommendation lists.

The first book in this series was just okay. There was a lot that felt rushed, especially when it came to Marguerite and Paul‘s relationship. One thing Claudia Gray is amazing at though is righting what people would consider “mundane.” The way the little scenes where the characters are just doing the dishes or something are written makes them feel just as important as the big action scenes. The subsequent books were much better

One of the few required readings that I thoroughly enjoyed. The story is incredibly thought-provoking and the language is beautiful.

I enjoyed the story but the format of the script itself read too much like a novel and not a script. It left almost nothing to a director‘s interpretation for future staging.

The only reason I can‘t give this a stellar review is Dolores freaking Umbridge. I hated her so much and it tainted my opinion of the book as a whole.

This was my absolute favorite in the whole series!! Definitely planning on rereading soon!
