Wow! I saw mixed reviews on this book. I enjoyed it you could guess what happened or what was going to happen. But at the same time the ending still surprised me.

MY DARK VANESSA. | KATE ELIZABETH. RUSSELL

This was an interesting read. Moments very difficult to listen to. But that I think is the point, difficult conversation and event for someone to go through. To see abuse from the side of the abused with a different mindset. So hard to hear and very sad. The longtime effects of abuse

I enjoyed this one more than I thought. Murder Mystery meets Hallmark movie kinda. I listened to this one fairly quickly. I like the attention to recipes and heritage of the families.

The Good Sister: A Novel | Sally Hepworth

The Good Sister was a good read. I could see why some people didn‘t like it. It had some moments that were predictable but you still had to keep reading. I enjoyed the build and wondering even knowing what could happen if it would happen. Then you get to the end and it all comes together.

Sometimes I Lie | Alice Feeney

This book was something else. Very quick read but it left me wonder wth! At the end. The idea of being in a coma but hearing everything going on around you was very intriguing. The confusing part is not knowing who is the insane person. Who lives? Who was the killer? So many questions!

It took me sometime to get into this book. It was not that bad. I enjoyed hearing about how Evelyn Hugo managed to have 7 husbands. It was a quick read was you finally got into her talking about her past in Hollywood and her true love. The ending I was not expecting it was sad but not depressing if that makes sense.

Cul-de-sac had moments I just wanted to punch some of the characters. It was a interesting read, I didn‘t expect the ending at all. This book also made you remember you never know what people have going on.

Stepped outside my usual reading with this one and I was not disappointed. I thought the story would go one way and at the end was surprised. Characters I thought I wouldn‘t like much I actually really liked at the end. I‘m excited to continue to read the next books in the series.
I got beauty and the beast vibes but then it had its own story also. Very good read. You will love some people, hate others get frustrated in the best way.

This book was not what I expected but it was an okay read. I thought the relationship between grandmother and granddaughter was so sweet. It did tug at my heart in several parts.

Another good book from Talia Hibbert. Not sure I liked it as much as Chloe or Dani Brown. But very good read, I especially appreciated the respect shown to Autistic people. Great job!

Not a Happy Family | Shari Lapena

Mehso-so

This book was not my favorite by Shari Lapena. A lot of characters but I didn't really feel a connection to any of them. It was a quick read that also felt rushed. I got the story line and you did kinda keep guessing who did it. But at the end I wasn't completely shocked.

Cpg Yes, I have just read it and I was left a little bit up in the air at the end....about the aunt....still on the trail.....and it wasn‘t easy to believe when “whodunnit” came out!!! I don‘t know I gave it a thumbs up in that it kept me reading! But thinking back I‘m not so sure- 2y
