I was horrified to learn of a Pride and Prejudice adaption I hadn‘t seen. Of course I had to start it immediately and of course I already adore it!

Where are you? What happened to you and Mr. Darcy in this wretched book that it turned you from a headstrong creature to a docile women whose only concern upon somebody‘s death is to write letters to people to inform them about a cancelled party? When did Mr. Darcy turn into Jon Snow who knows nothing? How disappointed I am in everything, I picked up this book in hopes of revisiting my favourite Austen perhaps with a twist, but here I am, burned again?. Dear Lizzy I hate you now, hate Darcy, Mr. Bingley, Jane and pretty much everyone. .

curious_niffler @Pooja444 I‘ve heard many similar reviews to yours about the book😢 I think I‘ll stick with the tv show because I love Lizzie too much to read anything that destroys the authenticity of her character! 8y

Pooja444 @curious_niffler Exactly and that's the reason why I am not thinking of starting this book. When I read name of the book on your post, I got really excited, but then the reviews are really bad and I don't want to shake Elizabeth's or any other character's image that's in my head. 8y
