Such an ugly and terrifying book, but truly well-written.
This book was incredibly disturbing, but I did read it in one sitting. What does that say about me?
First part: great, Second part: not so great.
Wooooow. Would not want to move into this neighborhood.
I fell asleep when I was reading this book, ended up having the worst nightmare. Good book!
Not a huge fantasy fan, but really enjoyed this book!
Oh to be a young adult chainsmoking and learning Greek….
(Please check TW warnings before reading this book!!) Seriously one of the most devastating and well-written books I‘ve ever read. This one is going to stay with me for awhile.
The only reason this book is so-so is because Asa infuriated me the entire time.
The entire book I was just like please speed it up. Sorry :(
This book took me a long time to read. It made me uncomfortable and nauseas, but that just proves the effectiveness of the storytelling and writing. Such a powerful novel.
I feel like the twist was pretty easy to see throughout the book, but still enjoyable
Literally could not put this book down. It was good in the way that I sat on my couch afterwards in silence.
A good, twisty novel. A lot of repetition and some repeat phrases, but the twist at the end kind of makes up for it?
Really enjoyed the plot of this book, but it does feel slow at times.
My life has been changed by this book. 10/10 party, 7/10 ending.
Wow is all I have to say.
Well I was on a no crying streak...until I finished this book.
“The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.”
