We forigve murderers, not pedophiles. Not since Lionel Shriver brought us We Need to Talk About Kevin has a writer delved into the complexities of a disturbed mother/son relationship. Until now. Meet Noah-an A-honor roll student, award-winning swimmer, and small-town star destined for greatness. There weren't any signs that something was wrong until the day he confesses to molesting little girls during swim team practice. He's sentenced to eighteen months in a juvenile sexual rehabilitation center. His mother, Adrianne, refuses to turn her back on him despite his horrific crimes, but her husband won't allow Noah back into their home. In a series of shocking and shattering revelations, Adrianne is forced to make the hardest decision of her life. Just how far will she go to protect her son? Saving Noah challenges everything you think you know about teenage sexual offenders. It will keep you up at night long after you've read the last page, questioning beliefs you once thought were true.

This story is powerful. So many emotions! I did the audio version, and found parts of it bizarre. The subject matter was very dark, and I didn‘t always find this reflected in the narrators voice. The things this family (especially the mother) had to deal with were mind blowing. My heart went out to almost all of the characters. Warning -There are many triggers in this book, so it‘s not for everyone.

Characters were believable, even though some of them weren't really likable. It was easy to understand why they acted like they did.

I was a bit confused the big part of the book: I was wondering what was this everything really about. I mean this was tagged as thriller and I was just wondering when something “thrilling“ starts to happen. Last chapters surprised me.

This was a bit depressing to read, I felt for Noah.

Noah is the all American boy. Perfect in everyway, at least that's what his parents think. They have the perfect family, and then Noah confesses. What he confesses to will tear their family apart.

A don't think this book was proofread very good. There were a lot of sentences that were missing a word. Very irritating to me. There are a lot of heavy topics in this book. Some disgusted me. I thought about DNFing it a couple of times, but ⬇️

Monica5 glad I read it. The next to last chapter was the one that made my rating go from 1⭐ to 1 1/2⭐. 4mo

This book was just so hard. I really can‘t express the feelings I had from this one. The author took a subject that most people would never dream would be relatable and made the reader feel so many things about the characters. Great writing and extremely hard subject matter. Read the trigger warnings before diving into this one.

Short but very heartbreaking, thoughtful, intense, emotional, and infuriating read. I definitely need a follow up about about Katie. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

🌟booo! Awful book! I‘m. It here for delusional moms who refuse to see her kid for what he is! She even so much as almost blames the little girls. Also, who throws a dinner party to tell parents their daughters were molested by their son and think it‘s all@gonna be ok. Ugh

Yeah this one was pretty dark. I don‘t know how to feel about it other than emotionally drained.

honestly… idk how i felt about this book. through most of it, I was honestly disgusted. It was about a mom trying to get back a life with her son after he m*lests two girls & goes to rehabilitation for it. I‘m still at a loss ablut how I feel. I cried at the end… I couldn‘t help it…. I may be too soft

Lucinda Berry has become one of my favorite authors! This one was hard to read emotionally-I can‘t imagine being in Noah‘s moms situation and deciding how to best help her son.
