The audio version was perfectly narrated by Kevin Hart himself. It was obviously funny but also poignant and full of life lessons he's learned as a young man reaching for his dreams. I highly recommend this audiobook!

This book is a terrific resource especially for beginners. It offers basic information about oil's and how to use them, ailments and what oils to use for each, and a breakdown of every oil available. It is a go to guide

I'm listening to this audiobook narrated by Kevin himself and it is amazing! Unexpectedly deep and poignant, though still very funny. I recommend it highly and I'm not even done with it! #Audiobook #Autobiography

The Whistler | John Grisham

Six years ago today I began my journey with audiobooks by listening to PRECIOUS by Sapphire. Audiobooks aren't for everyone and they do take some getting used to but the more I listen to them the more I enjoy them. They account for more than 50% of my reading now, out of both necessity and choice. Today I'm starting a new one, THE WHISTLER by John Grisham.

Marni I just started audiobooks this year. I used to feel it was cheating, but if it's the best way for me to consume a book than that's all that matters! 7y

Behind Closed Doors | B. A. Paris
Mehso-so

There was a lot of buzz about this book so I had high expectations for it. Right away, though, I got a sense that it could become monotonous, but I kept reading. I have mixed feelings about the story; Jack's character didn't seem real and it just came across as creepy. I had a feeling of frustration while I read this book. I didn't love it, I didn't hate it, it was just so-so for me.

NovelVisits I listened to it on Audible. The narrator was amazing. I think that's why I really liked this one. 7y
SouthernGrlReads I actually listened to it as well, and you're right, the narration was really good but I just didn't care for the story. 7y

This book was nothing like I thought it would be and once I figured out what was really happening I was totally disgusted. Unrealistic plot (I would hope there are not really people in the world like these), unlikable characters and predictable ending.

There is a lot of going back-and-forth in time with this book and at first it was confusing to me. Once I got used to it it did flow much better. The book has an interesting premise but I ended up feeling underwhelmed by the story. I I was looking for a bit more suspense I suppose. I chose the audio version and the narrators did a terrific job. I was very pleased with their performances but overall the book just fell a bit short for me.

End of Watch | Stephen King
Pickpick

Admittedly, I don't read all of King's books but this series is more crime fiction than his usual horror. But with this third book, it is more like the Stephen King that we all know. This was a satisfying finish to a great trilogy! I chose the audio version for this series and it was fantastic! Will Patton did an amazing job bringing this story to life.

kaykay521 I really enjoyed this trilogy as well 😊 8y

There is a lot going on in this book and though there were parts I enjoyed and that drew me in, there were others that didn't. I have to say, there were times I got irritated with the author because I felt she was pulling me around by the nose, dropping hints but not wanting to reveal what was going on. I enjoy suspense in novels but this did not come across as suspense to me. That being said, I did like the book but I didn't love it.

As one of my favorite new books of the summer, I was surprised, but happy, to see it offered as a Kindle daily deal today! I love her unique writing style and the story was interestingly different. http://southerngal-lisa.blogspot.com/2016/09/review-children-by-ann-leary.html?m...
