EadieB @Butterflyamore I just tagged you on my list of 20 books I read in February. 14-5 stars, 5- 4 stars, 1- 3 stars, 15 female authors and 5 male. 9 mystery thrillers, 2 historical mystery, 4 psychological thrillers, 4 fiction, 1 historical fiction. Mostly these are my series that I know I will love their books. That‘s why I have so many 5 and 4 star books. 4y
EadieB I‘ve read In The Woods and I think I told you that she is a very good writer but too wordy. From the books you read, I am interested in The Other People, The World That We knew, The Hold Out and My Dark Vanessa. 4y

I wanted to tell you more about my favorite reads of 2019 so I made a BookTube video about them! You can check it out here: https://youtu.be/EtnSd80seO0

#booktubevideo #youtubeforbooks #bestoftheyear #favoritereads #readinglog #booklove #booklist #bestbooks

EadieB @Butterflyamore From your list I would like to read Letters to the Lost, A Curse so Dark and Lonely, Doll Factory, The Apple Tree, 7-1/2 Deaths, This Tender Land, Miracle Creek and All That's Bright and Gone.
I have read The Whisper Man and The Light Between Oceans.
I have many books by Daphne DuMaurier but not The Apple Tree. I have read The House on the Strand (favorite) The Scapegoat and Rebecca. Jamaica Inn is a great one .

EadieB @Butterflyamore My favorites from 2019: Unwilling by John Hart, Say Nothing, The Chain A. McKinty, Just Mercy, The Silent Patient, Heart's Invisible Furies by John Boyne, Anonymous Girl.
Read many of my series books which are always favorites by these authors: Adrian McKinty, Jane Casey, C.J. Sansom, Simon Beckett, Ken Follett, Maeve Binchy, Kate Ellis, C.S. Harris, Elly Griffiths, Ann Cleeves, Peter Robinson, James Rollins, Steve Berry

abookishbutterfly @EadieB I‘ll be starting Just Mercy soon! Probably tomorrow. If I had read The Silent Patient in 2019, it definitely would have made my list! But I read the ARC in 2018 so it‘s a favorite of that year instead. 4y

It‘s a little later than usual but I finally got my November wrap up video up! I‘m excited to talk with you about the books I finished last month: https://youtu.be/1tCHRTxp5FU

EadieB @Butterflyamore Sad to hear you didn‘t like The Other Woman as I have the ARC too however, I have read her Paula Maguire series and found the books very well written. I am interested in reading Darling Rose Gold, The Cheerleaders and Trace of Evil from your reviews. I‘ve read 13 from November but did not read any NF. My favorite reads are Whitethorn Woods by Maeve Binchy, The Third Twin and Night Over Water by Ken Follett - all 5 stars from me. 4y
EadieB @Butterflyamore The Other Mrs. by Mary Kubica is a psychological thriller that I know you will love! It was hard to put down, suspects galore, edge of your seat surprise ending. So check that one out! Really good! I have to listen to your movie YouTube as I was traveling home from Mexico when I got it the other day. Your tag today has reminded me to do that so I‘ll be back to you after I finish it. 4y
abookishbutterfly @EadieB I have been hearing lots of great things about The Other Mrs. I definitely want to read it! I‘ll probably wait until it comes out, as I‘m a little overwhelmed with ARCs right now and want to be able to read some of my other books, too. I did see one review state that they couldn‘t believe that the same mind that wrote the Paula Maguire series wrote The Other Wife. Maybe I‘ll reconsider my stance on not reading another one of her books. 4y
EadieB @Butterflyamore I would definitely check out her Paula Maguire books! 4y

In case you missed it, yesterday I posted a new BookTube video comparing 7 books I‘ve read with their movie adaptations. Pictured here are six of the seven! Have you read any of these and then watched the movies? How do you feel they compare? You can hear my thoughts by checking out my latest video: https://youtu.be/wOZQ_eAtmfc

EadieB @Butterflyamore Here are the ones I have read:
Then She Was Gone - All of Lisa Jewell's books are good!
No Second Chance - I love Harlan Coben's books!
The Flight Attendant - found main character, Cassie Bowden extremely unlikeable and stupid.
Bonesetter's Daughter - Love Amy Tan books
Once Upon A River - Loved this one too
Beatown and US Against You - Loved both books
City of Falling Angels - Love books about Venice
Bring Me Back - Surprise end
5y
EadieB @Butterflyamore Recently required by me:
My Grandmother asked me to tell you she's sorry - Fredrik Backman
The Bookseller - Cynthia Swanson
Fight Club - Chuck Palahniuk
The Dive From Clausen's Pier - Ann Packer
The couple next door - Shari Lapena
What She Knew - Gilly MacMillan
Magpie Murders - Anthony Horowitz
Redemption Road - John Hart
Happy Like Murderers by Gordon Burn - True Crime about Fred and Rosemary West
Perfidia - James Ellroy

abookishbutterfly I enjoyed My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She‘s Sorry. It‘s a sweet story. The Couple Next Door is a good page turner. I have What She Knew and Magpie Murders but I haven‘t read them yet. I think I might have Redemption Road but I am not certain. I‘ll have to double check. I do have a couple of his other books, though. 5y
