I recently went on a tour of independent bookstores up and down California. Here's my haul with maybe 1 or 2 Amazon buys thrown in. No matter how much I'm enjoying a book, like I am "My Brilliant Friend," I'm also still always eagerly awaiting the next book. #WhatNext?

I was a huge fan of the movie and an even bigger fan of the book. I couldn't help but imagine the characters as their celebrity film counterparts and it made the book that much more enjoyable for me. Tropper's witty crude humor had me cracking up the whole way through.
