Well, it is 2pm where we live on the last day of the year and I have not read 100 books. Let's be honest. I did not think I actually would. It was a lot of books to read at the last minute. I did read 90 books which is more than last year and I'm pretty satisfied with that! I think I'll spend some time today trying to finish up the tagged book so I can start the new year with a new book! 🥂

This week was a busy one for me. I got a lot of writing work done but not a lot of reading. I'm taking the next 2 weeks off though! Still feeling hopeful about reading 100 books this year. Hahaha! I'm at 87.... I should finish this one today which will make 88. 🤔🤞🏻📚

Coffee + a good mystery + rainy day = all the reading.

Just finished this one so I'm at 87/100! I'm making excellent progress this weekend as I try to read 100 books by the end of the year. I'm sure I'll be much slower during the week but I'm feeling hopeful 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

I wish I had a real fireplace but this is better than nothing. Less clean up too. I'm hoping to finish this one today. It's a new to me mystery series set in Colorado. This first book involves two missing boys, a dead clown, a pregnant detective and plenty of secrets to keep me guessing! I'm loving it!

Went for a long walk in the short sun & now we're back where we started the day w/a different book & a cuppa. I'm trying to see if I can read 100 books by the end of the year. As of today I'm at 86/100. I'm feeling oddly confident about it even though I'm pretty sure I'm not going to hit that number. Some of you have suggested graphic novels but I don't read a lot of those so... I'm going to do my best w/full length! Here we go! #valeriereads100

Weekend plans.

Trying to get through a huge stack of library books before the end of the year. Also I'm at 84 books read for 2020 and might try to make it an even 100 before December 31. That's seems probably impossible but I'm going to try anyway. Because why not? It's not like I'm going to any Christmas parties or doing anything else but sitting at home with all this extra time on my hands....
