This is hard to pin down. It‘s well-written, the narrator compelling, it‘s important...but I didn‘t like it or enjoy reading it.

Keir is graduating from high school, and everyone will tell you he‘s a good guy. But his senior year becomes a slippery slope of partying and poor decisions, exacerbated by poor parental oversight. Vandalism, harassment, and eventually date rape are all explained away as “misunderstandings.”

Read this after Speak.

My kids are all unwell so having the laziest day reading these two books.

I am enjoying genuine fraud so far.

Finding the Blade itself a little difficult to get into but I've heard its a slow introduction to a fab trilogy so I will persevere.

Lucy_Anywhere Stick with The Blade Itself - I 💜 it! Glotka is one of my fave characters 2w

How many times can one person reinvent themselves? This book, told backwards, tells the story of Jules, and Imogen, two young women and their twisty friendship.

KendallHershey I found the reverse chronological story format really compelling here! I got totally sucked in. 4w

I felt like all the twists in this one were really obvious except for one. It was just ok.

🤔 This had a very different ending from what I‘d imagined. It was abrupt. I thought there would be more to the story, but I guess it was fitting. I was engrossed in this story from the beginning, and it just got more interesting as we went back in time to see how events led to the current situation.
