Pickpick

This book was a rollercoaster of emotions. It made me laugh, and cry, had me suspicious of everyone except Balen. I was 100% invested in the main characters. They had me frustrated, begging them to just talk to eachother and be happy.
(I love those idiots)
This gave me everything I enjoy in a fantasy book. The magic and the lore. The court intrigue and arcane assassins. The angst.

10/10 for me. I'm looking forward to reading the sequel

I've slowly been making progress on my first round for #BookishMonopoly
I still need to finish Januaries. I've been enjoying it.

(My ADHD has me book hopping around my ever growing TBR and I've also signed up for a local Book Bingo 😅)

I was feeling nostalgic and wanted something that would excite me like The Selection. This wasn't exactly it. I felt like the entirety of the book was just a vehicle to get the reader to the final scene. I'm not sure I'll continue reading the series.

After soooooo many years of reading a darkness of dragons and wishing for the sequels I have finally got them! I found them by mistake too. I enjoyed the first book and hated the cliff hanger ending. I'll finally get my answers! Lol. Anyone know them? #fantasy #piedpiper #rats #magic #dragons #griffins #battle #friendship #sorcery #curse

Finished my oldest #netgalley ARC! I was worried when I realized this was actually a later title in a series but while reading it, i realized that each book is set in the same world but follows diff couples. A cute read but I felt it focused too much on things like family and children, though I loved the pushback on traditional gender roles. Some of the magic was also interesting and I was really curious about learning more. Typical romance tropes

I never really understand these location markers for kindle titles 😂 but this is another of my #netgalley titles I started a few days ago. Didn't get very far but def plan to finish. This is my oldest #AugustArc title 😱 it's only the first chapter but there are many convenient things happening #lgbtq #gay #queer @Clwojick

Clwojick Agreed! Why can‘t it just say page 1/358 etc. 3y

#BookCoverChallenge
Day 84.
Here I will note 365 books (or as many as I will have before I get tired) that have shaped my taste in literature. No explanations, no reviews. Just the cover of the book.
I do not challenge anyone. You are all welcome to take part.
