I was feeling nostalgic and wanted something that would excite me like The Selection. This wasn't exactly it. I felt like the entirety of the book was just a vehicle to get the reader to the final scene. I'm not sure I'll continue reading the series.

After soooooo many years of reading a darkness of dragons and wishing for the sequels I have finally got them! I found them by mistake too. I enjoyed the first book and hated the cliff hanger ending. Finished my oldest #netgalley ARC! I was worried when I realized this was actually a later title in a series but while reading it, i realized that each book is set in the same world but follows diff couples. A cute read but I felt it focused too much on things like family and children, though I loved the pushback on traditional gender roles. Some of the magic was also interesting and I was really curious about learning more. Typical romance tropes

I never really understand these location markers for kindle titles 😂 but this is another of my #netgalley titles I started a few days ago. Didn't get very far but def plan to finish.
