Some reads for Short Book September!! All under 250 pages (or thereabouts). Tagged one of my favorites so far! #sbksept Thanks for the idea, @juliannebenford ❤️📚

juliannebenford Thank you! I'm intrigued by all of these! 4y

The Famous (or is it Fatuous) Five go on a strategy away day featuring competitive team building exercises in order to ideate, move forward and create synergy. Will they get through the day without murdering each other? How long will Julian's hangover last? And can they get one up on the Secret Seven?

I enjoyed Five on Brexit Island but I loved this! It was laugh out loud funny and I'd recommend it to all corporate away day survivors! #sbksept

Okay Littens, here it is, my 2018 #sbksept TBR! Some books were on my 2017 TBR but I have a few new ones too! Plenty of choice - what do you think I should start with? What should I make sure to read this time around? If you want to join in with Short Books September just grab some short books (under 250 pages) from your shelves, share a picture and start reading! More info (and a funny video) at the link in my profile.

I'm doing this again - even though I already hit my Goodreads challenge goal a few days ago! It was so much fun when I did it last year, sharing updates and reviewing books on Instagram live. If you'd like to join in, full details are on the link in my profile but basically you set your own target and use #sbksept to share your progress! I'm aiming to read four short books because I like to set realistic goals but hoping to read more! #challenge

The Time of the Ghost | Diana Wynne Jones

Pickpick

"There's been an accident!" thinks the ghost - is she a ghost? Is she really dead? Is something after the Melford sisters - and which sister is she? This is a delight, spooky and realistic at the same time, with ancient forces, blood magic, all the drama of sibling relationships and parents you will love to hate (seriously they are the WORST). Plus the backdrop of British countryside and an all-boys boarding school. #sbksept #shortbooks #readathon

I'm already planning what I‘m going to do after I've finished #sbksept! I am a reading challenge addict for sure! I think I'll take it easy though and make my minimum two books...got to leave room for other things 😊🔮🕸⚰🎃 #screamathon @4thhouseontheleft

alisiakae @RaimeyGallant Thank you!! Photography does not come easily to me, so I LOVE the positive feedback! 😃 5y
alisiakae @juliannebenford Yay! Thanks for joining! I will probably keep my #screamathon challenge list to 3-4 books, because I am still working on #tbrbingo 😆 5y

Deenie | Judy Blume

Pickpick

#sbksept book three was Deenie and I loved it! I got massive Secret Garden vibes - the protagonist is a grumpy, sometimes mean girl whose mind is opened up by her experiences. I don't know how accurate the information about scoliosis is but I really liked that the book followed all Deenie's visits to various doctors, it made it feel more realistic. Catch the replay of my Deenie Instagram Live session here: www.instagram.com/juliannebenford

MaleficentBookDragon I remember that book from when I was a kid. 5y
