Great way to spend a lazy Sunday

The writing in the Sellout jumps off the page, with so many blistering, funny sentences. The story follows a black man who introduces slavery in his town & ends up in the supreme court. The book challenges perceptions of racism and has some clever scenes which make you think. It was incredibly funny in places but I have to admit sometimes it went over my head. I wouldn't say this was an easy read but I enjoyed it. A whirlwind of a book!
