Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban | J.K. Rowling

I just finished reading Prisoner of Azkaban with the kid but reading the books out loud takes a long time. Glad I‘ll be able to enjoy just sitting back and reading to myself.

Starting off this book with a #ronismorethanasidekick post because here is another great Ron quote! “Don‘t let the Muggles get you down!” is another fave of mine that I use often.
Love how this book focuses on friendship and loyalty and forgiveness.

TheNextBook @Christine11 we‘ve been reading the Illustrated editions as they come out and it is fun reading with him but it takes forever! He is having fun with it. Not sure about Goblet of Fire though because of how big it is! 6y

#hpnewyear2018 I‘ve said it before and this is a hill I am willing to die on, RON DOES NOT GET ENOUGH CREDIT FOR ONE OF THE MOST ICONIC LINES IN HARRY POTTER HISTORY!

Yes, he is referring to Hermione but this is his line and it is perfection! Whenever I see this all credit goes to Hermione! The shirt that this is plastered over doesn‘t even mention Ron. There is nothing. And I just can‘t!

ghosthost Ugh, yes. I stopped listening to one of my favorite HP podcasts after their episode on Carry On because they said Ron was unnecessary in it. I‘m sorry, but if you think Ron is unnecessary to HP, you need to reread it. 6y

I am going to be reading the digital editions I have on my Nook this year. I try and rotate through my sets to preserve my copies. I start January 1st and read the entire series! Ron's story arch should not be overlooked. He is one of the most fully realized characters. He is deeply emotional and is trying to find his individuality within a large family with a famous best friend. This was the ultimate turning point for him.
