And Then There Were None | Agatha Christie

Hey all! I'm looking for recommendations of single location mystery books. A group of people in a single location, unable to leave, and there's a mystery/death that must be solved. Think "And Then There Were None" by Agatha Christie.

Any type of setting will do as long as it fits the above.

BookKenz I have The Guest List and her other book, The Hunting Party, which apparently has similar vibes. I can bring them over if you wanna borrow 'em. 3y
CoveredInRust @Kenziejo i actually just bought The Guest List! We could always plan another buddy read that falls through 🤣 3y

Once again I have a few audible credits piling up, so hit me with your recommendations please! I‘m very picky with narrators, if the reader sucks, no matter how great the book I just can‘t finish it. I love crime/mystery/thrillers, sci-fi & fantasy, magical realism & true crime. I know a lot of y‘all are audiowalking lately, so anything you really enjoyed, hit me up! Aaand GO!!

CarolynM I'm listening to The Hate U Give, and I think I'm getting more out of it because of the narration than I would if I was reading it. 5y
Paula3 Dual narrators & great cop thriller 5y
Kaye Here are some I‘ve listened to repeatedly ; Dolores Claiborne ( probably the best audio performance I‘ve ever heard) , The Humans ( terrific book and good narration) , Crapalachia( not sure if you‘ll like it, but the narration is TERRIFIC) , The Good Girl ( narrated by multiple people and all do well ) , Salt of the Earth ( excellent true crime) , True Grit ( western but narrated by Donna Tartt —-great narration and good book ) 5y

Calling it quits. I stalled out at around 40%. I was looking for a fun action/adventure/mystery series to dive into but this didn't work for me. I felt like I was reading a movie that I would rather be watching. What's a good addictive series to start?? I'm thinking maybe a DaVinci Code readalike. Whatcha got Litsy? #help #recommendme

mischa It's not really Da Vinci code but fast pace and addictive are the Scarecrow (Shane Schofield) or Jack West books by Matthew Reilly. I also remember reading and enjoying a David Gibbons book years ago, but I can't remember what it was called. 7y
