#quitterstrip marks my place at Book Fifth - The Descent of Les Miz and I‘m ending Friday night with finishing The Monarch of the Glen.
No idea what time I clocked in as I failed to set the stopwatch. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I'll use just about anything as a quitter strip. I'm currently using two wallet size pictures that aren't separated bc they felt like a quitter strip in my drawer.

AsYouWish I use band-aids all the time. One because they are the perfect size and two because if I ever get a paper cut from my book, I don't have to go far for a band-aid. 6y

plaidchuck I use playing cards.. write the books name on a card and also date it when I'm done. 52 bookmarks for a dollar! 6y

jouleian I use ANYTHING flat (IE: receipt, photos, business cards, notes, etc.) I just don't dog ear bc that's a super sac-relig to me....I get irrationally angry about it. 6y

goodbyefrancie I have a bookmark collection, and buy them when I travel. I also use postcards from places I have visited. 6y

PSreads73 Most of my books are book of the month or Star Wars related. BOTM gives quitter strips. For Star Wars I use a holographic card of Yoda that came off a box of Curad bandaids. LOL 6y

PSreads73 @WhatThePuck Same with BOTM. they were cool when they had a quote from their judges about the book. Now they have random quotes from different authors that have nothing to do with the book. 6y

WhatThePuck @PSreads73 Bookish Box has a "theme," but sometimes that theme is a little loose. Lol. The last 3 book marks I didn't even recognize the books they quoted. I quit subscribing. 6y

The_Literary_Jedi Weirdest...a piece of dog kibble! No joke, I was trying to read and Donut dropped a kibble in my lap into the book but she was so darn cute I closed the book and had to squish her face! 6y

JamieLou One time my husband handed me a $20 bill at a party we were at (I think I won a bet with him but I can‘t remember). I was reading a book but it got too loud so I stuck the cash in there as my bookmark and tossed it in my purse. I forgot about the book for like two months because it wasn‘t that great, but when I finally finished it I found the $20 too so it was worth 😂 6y
