A little photo styling w/assistance of my 9 year old 🐶 I‘m so glad I lifted this middle grade graphic novel from her library stack and got at least one #middlegrademarch read in. Pashmina is a lovely and empowering story that we both loved. I‘ve also found that I mainly enjoy graphic memoirs (Smile or Sisters by @goraina and El Deafo by @cecebellbooks) and there‘s something very personal feeling to this story by @nidhiart that captured my heart💗

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for Hello, Universe by Erin Entrada Kelly.. It‘s #middlegrademarch so I‘m taking advantage and reading some muddled grade novels that have been on my shelves 😊

A really cute quick read. This one has deaf representation that in my opinion was well done. I loved the characters and the adventure that they go through ❤️

Here is my #TBR for #middlegrademarch. I raided my kids‘ bookshelves and ordered a few from my #library. I usually read about 4 books per month, but thought since they are children‘s books that I would likely be able to read a bit more. Are you reading any #middlegrade books this month? Are there any in this pile that you have read and would recommend I prioritize? Any titles I should add to this #stack? #bookstack

4thhouseontheleft My daughter owns so many of these! Serafina and Walk Two Moons are both fantastic! So is Coraline, and my daughter just read Fever last month for her small book group at school and thought it was really good. Doll People is okay, but not our favorite from the books we have read in your pile. 9mo
4thhouseontheleft I‘m also curious, what is #middlegrademarch? 9mo
juliegumdrop @4thhouseontheleft Over on YouTube, there are several booktubers reading a slew of Middle grade books during the whole month of March. I‘m not sure where the idea originated, but I‘m game. Thanks for your recs; I‘ve been meaning to read Fever for literally almost 20 years (and I used to live in Philadelphia) so that one is definitely a priority. 9mo

sblbooks I love middle-grade. I thought it was May, so I was going read all middle grade in May. 9mo
sblbooks I recommend Fever 1793. We are reading The Birchbark House for #mgbuddyread this month. 9mo
juliegumdrop @sblbooks I‘ve been trying to get my daughter to try The Birchbark House but no luck yet. 9mo
sblbooks It was an interesting book, but it was sad in parts. 9mo

This is my first book completed for #middlegrademarch. I loved it! I somehow missed this one growing up, so I knew almost nothing about it beforehand. The story has a surprising amount of depth that I wasn‘t anticipating, but really enjoyed. I laughed out loud a lot too!

Eggs ♥️ this book; have read it many times ❤️ 2y
