I've started this book, which I bought at the same time as Inferno. I hope I like it better (see my post of a few days ago).

Boring. 😴 I almost DNF several times. This is a stroll through Renaissance art in Florence, Venice and the mixture of art and culture in Istanbul. All disguised as a rather slow chase of Robert Langdon by unknown pursuers. Brown even takes time to mention two ugly sculptures in the Boboli Gardens through which a lengthy portion of the chase ran. I love art and art history but yeah...Plus, a great deal about Dante and his Divine Comedy.

This mystery plot dragged a bit and was rather convoluted. I much prefer the previous Holmes and Watson novel I read by this author. (See my previous post.) I do like her portrayal of Holmes and Watson, though.

my book of the year wow &adebut too this lady‘s really got it she‘ll be an auto buy for me now. If someone would have told me a book of letters would be my favourite book of the year I‘d never have believed them but this is so so clever. I also think anyone who has dealt with grief should read this & perhaps even though it is a book for anyage send it to anyone depressed about aging because you really can lead a full life no matter what age youare

Just finished this. Loved it. I'll read her other Sherlock Holmes novels, of which there are at least two more.

Finished this book this week ~ had to share this silly green stained head from my own butterfly chaser. To my #LitsyLove friends, I‘m worn out from life, nothing tragic and hopefully my upcoming vacation will recharge my batteries but please don‘t take it personally when I don‘t write back. I‘m simply out of extra creative energy.
