I rather enjoyed this tale of archeological times in the late 1800's. The characters grew and I loved the leading lady who told the story. This was a great read for #BakerStreetIrregulars #BuddyRead. TheAromaofBooks Woohoo!! I finished this one today as well. My understanding is originally this was going to be a standalone, but Peters went on to write another 19 books about these characters!! I read this whole series a few years ago and loved it. 2w

Well, I'm just a little disappointed in this book. The look of the man on the cover did not meet the character at all. I liked the book until the author kind of went nuts with where the Fairies came from. I found the book long for no reason. And yet I might read book 2. Clwojick If you haven‘t crossed them off already, I‘d say the O in forgotten could count for a circle, it has coloured font, and I‘m taking some liberties, but I‘d say the “crack” across the page from the blue to the skyline image. 🙌🏻 12mo
