But man that‘s awkward - making them stay the night after an uncomfortable brunch. They really should NOT have been fooling around in Alex‘s old room. Just begging to get caught. mcctrish I want to know if Buck really likes Sunny or if this is some long game ‘fuckery‘, I think mama Waters is over reaching with her animosity towards Violet and whatever Alex is talking about on the phone re: Violet he better come clean about details sooner than later 22h

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.17-18: well so far they got out of the locker room fiasco with a minimal scene - at least until some enterprising reporter puts two and two together. Most of Alex‘s teammates were decent about the whole thing. And Alex called Vi his girlfriend in front of everyone. And then does the same thing in front of his family 😳⬇️

StayCurious this is sweet but Violet is insecure and neurotic and questions everything so they should have had that convo beforehand. But at least her mother is there to distract everyone…yikes. 2d

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.15-16: WTF are these two thinking? Honestly there‘s having great chemistry and not being able to keep your hands off each other- and then there‘s having sex in a locker room - during a game - which could really affect his career and her reputation. Not only was he ejected from the game (which will at the very least mean a hefty fine) but then this? Yikes. I see real consequences that are bound to come their way.

mcctrish This just felt gratuitous and dumb - they are young- but he‘s made good hockey choices and the fight seemed to stem the opposition taking shots at Violet being easy and Alex being cranky about not getting to see her so he‘s just lost all sense over a girl 3d

OriginalCyn620 I too had a hard time stopping at this chapter! I cannot wait to see how they get out of this predicament. But so far, for me at least, there‘s no substance to this book. They‘ve basically just been banging their brains out and I‘m ready for something else to happen. 3d

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.13-14: I love me some spice in a book - but dare I say it - the past few chapters there hasn‘t been a whole lot else. It‘s a bit difficult to find things to talk about other than Violet‘s obsession with the MC. Except - we called it in that she‘s very insecure and got twisted over an innocent picture. It‘s a good thing Alex is willing to put up with her crazy. ⬇️

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.11-12: this meme works for a couple reasons - 1st - sorry for tagging you in my other readalong the past couple nights - totally my bad 🤦‍♀️ 2nd - violet just said I love you…during sex. Whoops. And they did it without proper protection - double whoops. They really lose their minds when they get together it seems. They have some insane chemistry but otherwise can be so awkward. ⬇️

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.9-10: so their coffee date went really well (how cute is it that Alex ordered hot chocolate?) and their dinner date went really well (aside from Alex being exposed to Violet‘s mom for a couple minutes at the beginning there) - why do I get the feeling something bad is going to happen to derail things? I mean, even if they started seeing each other, Violet will still be jealous or insecure about what‘s happening on the road.

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.7-8: Poor Alex - things are not going well for him in the Vi department. Some of this - yes, he brought on himself. But he‘s not helped out by those around him. What is Violet supposed to think about him? Of course she should keep him at arms length- even though he‘s making that difficult. It‘s nice that he likes her enough to keep trying though. But he may need to rethink his strategy.

CarolynM I was surprised about “beaver” not being a term in use in the US. About 20 years ago Australian TV showed an ad campaign for sanitary products featuring a puppet that was meant to be a beaver of the animal kingdom & I think we all just assumed it came from the US.
