Of course, we just couldn‘t start a book about #impeachment without a quote from #donaldtrump #ushistory #history #uspolitics #politicalscience #jefferyengel

A 700-page indictment of everything the Trump administration and everything it stood for. Incredibly well researched and written.

Well-written and illuminating. At the same time, I don‘t think anyone will be surprised by the findings in this book.

The insane, unreal, larger-than-life, Tom-Cruise-esque antics, intellectual history of this stranger-than-fiction guy, Steve Bannon drives the whole. Trump and Bannon were star-crossed lovers, serendipitously drawn together to create a Perfect Storm of Wonderland. We're All Mad Here. His life and wide career, from Goldman Sachs before it went public to working in China on MMORPG community profit, to Hollywood film production to French conspiracies

Given the rampant misinformation in the last few election cycles, these books — driven by statistics and facts — have been a particular tonic for me. Excellent insights and clear facts to follow, laying out exactly why and how Joe Biden won in 2020.

Maggie is a great writer. Quite a tale she tells for the most part avoids editorial comments and lets the facts talk.

Reading The Divider is like rereading a familiar horror novel: even knowing what will happen next, you are still frightened. And even knowing the broad strokes of what happens, you are enraged by the details and nuance you initially missed. A political thriller as much as an historical narrative.
