2/5⭐ Very bloated, repetitive, surface-level text. Appropriates things like chakras, spirit animals, and mojo bags. Cites freaking Silver RavenWolf. Pretends to be general witchcraft when it's clearly Wicca. The projects are mostly very basic. I like the idea of incorporating witchcraft into fibercraft, but this book didn't inspire me or give me any ideas I couldn't figure out on my own with just a moment's thought.

And another art… this one feels not at ALL daring until the end, which keeps it real. Good poetry analysis. Restlessness of desire, restlessness of boredom. How daring relates to norms, knowledge, loss of self, understanding of risk. Revelation, confession, shame.

Saw this on Facebook to make mini books. The crafters precut foam tape is at DollarTree, according to the post.

I‘ve been wanting to make mini books and then place them in a clear tree ornament.

This book is exactly what it says it is: techniques, patterns, and samplers for blackwork embroidery. Unfortunately, it doesn‘t have any information about doing blackwork on clothing (as it historically was), which is what I really want to do. But I suppose I can practice on Aida and figure out the rest myself.

Good read about how to bookbinding by hand!
