This very simple and charming story is about a girl who is sent back to the islands of her birth to live with her grandparents. She has vague memories of her time there, but one very strong one: her baby brother being swept out to see in his boat-like cradle. She is determined to find out what became of him.
Here are my #CampLitsy25 picks. So many new releases to choose from and my favorite part is seeing everyone‘s choices and adding them all to my TBR! I know camp is always fun no matter what we read together this summer! Can‘t wait! 🏕️
I‘m very excited for Camp Litsy this summer and will nominate these four books that have been recent adds to my TBR. Many thanks again this year to our fearless leaders! #CampLitsy25
Okay, I think this is mostly my April TBR. I‘m still considering a couple other readalongs/challenges but haven‘t made up my mind yet.🤷🏻♀️

Hagworthy a mystical village - my current bus read 📚
Book 31/155
Sweet story about finding joy in hard circumstances with lovely imagery of the Welsh countryside. Not as complete of a story as my all time favorite St. John, Treasures of the Snow, but nonetheless a lovely spring read.
Fantastic, loved it. I‘ve been collecting as many Dorrie the Witch books as I can find. This one was elusive, so I resorted to eBay and had to get a little paperback edition. All the others I‘ve found are the hardcover school editions like I read in elementary school.
