Happy new year, everyone! I made a 2026 bracket template for those who would like one.

Each month, choose the best book you read that month and repost this graphic with your book added to the appropriate box. They will face off against each other until one is crowned the best book you read all year. There are also two “bonus” spaces to even up the matches!

Amiable @CSeydel In 2024 I posted my monthly brackets on Facebook for some friends who are readers to follow along. It was like a social media book club and prompted discussions and sharing. I didn‘t do it in 2025 because I lost motivation and enthusiasm due to current events 😖 and all of my friends clamored for me to post again this year because they missed it. So your brackets have a wide reach! 🙂 now

GingerAntics @CSeydel I was just thinking that. Having the two different colors would help keep them separate. Love that so much!!! 22h

CSeydel @Amiable I know what you mean - when I do a single bracket my nonfiction reads always win. But when I tried to do two brackets, I realized I don‘t read more than one NF per month - and sometimes it takes me a couple of months to read a really good one. 22h
