First audiobook in a while! Been missing my #audioreads. I haven‘t watched Bridgerton yet, and the book is always better, so you know I had to start here anyway. 😂

I‘m starting to list potential #audioreads for my walks. These are shorter books I‘ve had on my Hoopla TBR. Know of any others I should add? Since my goals include 4 “walk only” reads, I want to keep them under 6 hours.
I started listening to my first Jones yesterday and I‘m enjoying it. She writes beautifully. I‘m almost halfway through and I‘m looking forward to the second POV I read about.

pickStarted and stopped this book in the middle of the year and then finished it in December. This book had a much different feel than the previous books in the series. A meditation on how you create a family, what it means to you and the way people deal with change, loneliness and outsiders... but set on a spaceship. #audioreads
Loved this live reading of The Winds of Harmattan from the tagged book on the most recent season of #LevarBurtonReads. The conversation with author Okorafor afterwards was a special treat. I listened this weekend as part of my efforts towards #12intwo. #audioreads #diversereads #shortfiction
bailedAnd so the #PeculiarChildren trilogy ends. [I know there‘s a new book coming out this fall; I‘ll definitely add it to my hold requests at the library when it becomes available.]
While I‘m still annoyed by the tokenism of Jacob and his family‘s Jewishness, overall it‘s a good series with interesting characters. This book was a good conclusion to the adventure started in book one.
