These two guys are each writing a book. Rowland is the head of this school and is weird and jealous of Chris, a student, making for a delicious plot. Under 200 pages with large type. I‘ve smacked Rowland upside the head once already.

#arcsforme I‘ll go for Will in The Incendiaries which I would recommend people pick up when it is out next month! Will tries to reinvent himself in college and struggles to do so...which I won‘t say anything more to avoid spoilers but safe to say he will leave readers who were pulling for him gutted. Last character I wanted to smack upside the head was Ruby from The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken. What she does at the end of that book I was like, "ohhhh girl why?! No, don't do that!!" Haha

The last character I wanted to smack was Luke from “The Essex Serpent.” He writes a letter confessing his love to the heroine, calling her friendship “crumbs”, & basically complaining that he‘s been friend-zoned. Fortunately, she writes him back & gives him a verbal slap. 😅 Which, of course, she‘s then made to feel guilty about because how DARE a woman speak her mind? 🙄
